Genesis 8:1
We spend a great deal of energy simply trying to remember things. We write ourselves notes, leave reminders, and make lists, but still we often forget. Not so with God. He is always attentive to the needs of his children. Noah and his family surely took comfort from this truth when they found them- selves suddenly alone in the world. God remembered Noah and acted to save him. Noah watched as winds picked up and the waters receded, finally leaving him on dry land. So also God has seen our distress and has acted to save us, sending his Son, Jesus Christ. Let us praise God for remembering us.

Prayer and Praise
LORD GOD, Savior of your people, we praise you that you remember us and our needs most perfectly, for you have made a way for our salvation through your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen
