Genesis 14:18-20
We are overwhelmed by the majesty of mountains that rise thousands of feet above the valley floor. Their immensity makes us feel small, calling our attention to the power of the one who brought them into existence. We are also amazed by the delicate features of a newborn child, whose tiny parts took shape from one fertilized egg. The wonder of creation that surrounds us cannot be fully grasped or appreciated. We can only stand in awe at the greatness of our Creator and Lord.

Prayer and Praise
O GOD, Creator of heaven and earth, we praise you for the endless examples of your handiwork in the world around us. Open our eyes to see your wonders, both great and small. Turn our awe and wonder into hymns of praise to the glory of your name. Amen.
